Description: Records of stallions that were licensed through the State Department of Agriculture for breeding purposes. Stallion Register Papers are found in the Clerk of Court's Office until 1907. After 1907, the PA Department of Agriculture issued the certificates.

Content: The stallion register papers list the name of the agent or owner; their signature; register number; name of horse; physical description and lineage of the animal; breeding fees and terms; and signature of the Clerk of Courts.
